Are you a professional working in support services with any of the following clients?
If so, we would like to interview you for a study examining the nature of the relationship between gambling and domestic violence. This includes physical, sexual, emotional or financial abuse. The study is being conducted by CQUniversity, the Queensland Centre for Domestic and Family Violence Research, and the Australian Institute of Family Studies, and is funded by Australia’s National Research Organisation for Women’s Safety. Its findings will help to improve system responses to these issues.
Professionals working in DV, gambling help, financial counselling and other allied services (e.g. outreach, refuges) are welcome. Participation involves an interview with one of our researchers at a mutually convenient time.
