Do you need supervised contact and/or changeover services for your children since you and your partner have separated?
Our Children’s Contact Service provides support for children and parents who have separated to build and maintain secure relationships through supervised contact visits. It also offers a place for the safe transfer of children between separated parents and/or carers.
This service is also available for children to maintain and build relationships with extended family members such as grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles when there are concerns about child safety. In all situations centre staff take a non-judgemental approach while always ensuring a safe environment for children.
We will work with you, providing resources and strategies to help children maintain positive and meaningful relationships with their parents or other family members. Our goal is to assist you move towards unsupervised self-managed arrangements whenever possible.
The service we provide is for six months after which, if you pass the assessment by the Coordinator of the Children’s Contact Service, you may attend our Supported Play Group for an additional six months.
This service is funded by the Attorney General Department.
