What will it be like?

Rather than providing a ‘one size fit for all’ counselling style, we enable students to develop their own unique style of counselling incorporating:

  • Personal qualities, skills and strengths
  • Knowledge gained through life experiences, work roles and prior studies
  • Preferences to therapeutic counselling styles, skills and techniques
  • The skills and knowledge required to complete this program with a flexible therapeutic framework
  • The skills and knowledge required to undertake general counselling work
  • High level communication in a range of commonly used modalities

This course uses a blended delivery mode of online assessments and activities with face-to-face training available in Sydney (Macquarie Park) and Adelaide (Hindmarsh). Training is delivered via self-paced, online activities and assessment with classroom facilitated learning.
