CHC81015 Graduate Diploma
of Relationship Counselling

Who is it for?

The Graduate Diploma of Relationship Counselling equips you to work with therapeutic challenges of relationship dynamics through an immersion in systemic practice and theory. You will gain clinical skills, knowledge and confidence in managing the complexities and intricacies particular to working with couples and families.

This nationally recognised qualification equips students to respond appropriately to domestic and family violence and to work within a culturally competent framework with diverse couples and families within their wider social context.

Relationships Australia NSW delivers this qualification in partnership with Australian Institute of Social Relations, RTO 102358 (the training division of Relationships Australia South Australia Ltd).

What will it be like?

In this course, participants who successfully complete the learning and assessment activities will have acquired skills and knowledge about the dynamics and interactional patterns of couple and family relationships through a systemic lens. This systemic lens equips learners to conceptualise complex family and couple relationships within the wider context of their lives and to effectively develop counselling interventions to meet the goals and needs of the clients.
