Parenting After Separation – Focus on kids
Parenting after Separation is a group for parents and carers who want to learn more about how they can best support their child through the process of family separation. The group will help you to learn more about managing your ongoing relationship with a former partner and to reduce conflict, whilst supporting your children.
Family Relationship Centre
Our Family Relationship Centres (FRCs) provide support though relationship changes or breakdown. Services include assistance with parenting arrangements, resolution of financial and property matters, information, referrals and mediation.
Individual & Couples Counselling
An opportunity to talk with trained and experienced professionals about issues that are affecting you.
Managing Strong Emotions
Managing Strong Emotions is a 6-session group for people who are seeking support to better deal with strong emotions that may be causing issues in their relationships. This type of emotion may include anger, grief or jealousy.
Children’s Contact Service
Our Children’s Contact Service provides support for children and their separated parents to build and maintain secure relationships through supervised contact visits. It also offers a place for the safe transfer of children between separated parents and/or carers.
Parenting Order Programs (POP)
Parenting Order Program (POP) is particularly useful if you are experiencing conflict in adhering to parenting orders made by the court, or as agreed with your former partner in an outside court settlement. This program will assist you to reduce conflict and stay focused on your children's needs.
Family Advocacy & Support Service
The Family Advocacy and Support Service (FASS) supports men through the Family Court system in cases of domestic and family violence. Relationships Australia NSW delivers this service in partnership with Legal Aid NSW.
Men and Relationships
Men and Relationships is an 8-session group for men who may have experienced difficulties in their relationships and want to work on building open, respectful connections with partners, family and friends.
