Our training is ideal for group leaders, managers and team leaders who want to equip themselves with proven techniques to help balance different views within groups, increase motivation, and adapt their leadership styles to suit every situation.

What You'll Learn

You’ll develop group facilitation and leadership skills, and learn to better understand different styles of communication, how to deal with different group dynamics, how to give feedback, and how to run creative group exercises.

This training is ideal if you work in one of the following roles:

Counsellor, psychologist running group sessions or workshops
Men’s behaviour change workshop facilitator
Educator
Community organisation or charity team leader or trainer
Drug and alcohol recovery support group facilitator
Youth group facilitator

Over the course of two days, you’ll learn how to:

Format

2-day workshop, delivered face-to-face.
9:30am-4:30pm both days.

Cost

$715 per person including GST

  • 10% discount when booking for 2 or more participants.
  • 20% discount when booking for 5 or more participants.

    Andrew King is a leading groupwork specialist in community services, counselling and health, and facilitates national and international training workshops.

    What You'll Get

    All participants will receive a Group Leadership Skills Report on their strengths and areas for development. You’ll also receive a copy of the book Continual Change Group work: Being an effective group leader.
