By joining our Family Relationship Counselling team you’ll help individuals, couples, and families navigate their most important relationships. You'll provide essential support and practical tools to help people build and strengthen their connections.
Using a Family Systems Framework, you'll guide clients through conflict, domestic and family violence situations, mental health challenges, and addiction, empowering them to create healthier, more stable lives.
Key Roles in Family Relationship Counselling:
- Couple and Family Counsellor
- Child and Family Counsellor
- Adolescent Counsellor
- Senior Couple and Family Counsellor
- Team Leader Counselling
We offer full time and part time opportunities at our centres in Macquarie Park, Sydney City, Dee Why, Blacktown, Parramatta, Penrith, Wollongong, Gosford and Broadmeadow centres.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or above related to the social sciences
- Post-graduate qualifications and/or training in couple or family counselling with an understanding of the Systemic approach
- 100 hours minimum clinically supervised counselling client contact
Desirable:
- Eligible for membership of PACFA
- ACA (level 3, 4)
- AASW
- Registered Psychologist
