Overview
Who It's For?
Wattle Place provides support services for anyone who experienced institutional or other out-of-home care as children, people of the Stolen Generations, Former Child Migrants, and people seeking support to understand and apply to the National Redress Scheme.
How We Help
Each person visiting Wattle Place is unique and may need different support. We offer a range of support to suit the needs of each individual or family group.
What to Expect
We have an experienced and skilled team who will listen and work with you to support you in achieving your goals. Our team will discuss your current situation and provide customised support for your individual circumstances. Our services are confidential and participation is voluntary.
The personal and psychological impacts of forced adoption and institutional care often leave significant lifelong consequences.
However, there is hope. We’re here to work with you to develop skills and strategies to help ease the burden of those impacts.
How we help:

“I have found Wattle Place to be an outstanding service to those who endured a difficult childhood, especially from a young age as I myself did. I thank the staff at Wattle Place for their diligent concerns, and for subsequently ensuring that we are not forgotten!”
