Access Family Mediation Service

Access Family Mediation Service provides valuable support to help you manage a relationship breakdown. We provide assistance for individuals navigating the challenges around post-separation, including parenting and the care of children, financial arrangements and how to divide property.

Who's it for?

This service is open to anyone navigating post-separation. We have extensive experience working with people of all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, regional and rural NSW families, families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and people living with disabilities.

We are also available to work with carers, support workers and interpreters when required.

What will it be like?

You can access the service on your own, with your partner, carer or advocate, or as a family. Attending the Access Family Mediation Support Service is voluntary and confidential. The decisions you make are not legally binding. If you would like to put your arrangements in writing, your practitioner can assist you.

Our Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners (Mediators) can help you navigate changes to family structure dynamics during separation or divorce, as well as directing you to a range of helpful services.

Our qualified counsellors and mediators are experienced and skilled in dealing with relationship challenges and can assist with:

Fees

We pride ourselves on making our services accessible and have a sliding fee scale. All individual mediation services prior to joint sessions are free of charge.

Fees can be waived in cases of financial hardship.
