Parenting After Separation-Focus on kids
Parenting after Separation is a group for separated parents and carers who want to learn more about how they can best support their child through the process of family separation. The group will help you to learn more about managing your ongoing relationship with a former partner and to reduce conflict, whilst supporting your children during this transition.
Aftercare Resource Centre (ARC)
Whether you are preparing to leave out-of-home care, or you have left your care arrangements and are transitioning into independent living, the Aftercare Resource Centre (ARC) can provide you with support and information that will enable you to start the process of independent living effectively.
Kidspace is an 8 session group for 5 to 12 year olds who have experienced violence in their families. Parents and children will be guided to improve communication, minimise conflict and build stronger relationships through discussion, games and activities designed to encourage support and cooperation. Families also benefit from meeting and engaging with other families who are experiencing similar challenges.

Triple P is a parenting program for families that provides practical answers to everyday parenting concerns. This group program gives you the opportunity to develop skills, gain support from other parent/carers, and view video demonstrations of core parenting skills.

Kid in Care is a 6-8 session group for parents whose children are not in their care. The group helps parents to deal with the grief and loss experienced when their children are in out of home care and explores positive strategies for dealing with their circumstances.

Men’s Matters is an ongoing monthly support group for men who have completed a group with Relationships Australia. The group is held in a safe, non-judgmental environment that fosters healthy and supportive relationships.
Team appointments are for couples and families who want the opportunity to have their story heard by more than one experienced practitioner. Team appointments allows for more interaction, different perspectives and effective solutions for everyone involved.
