Adolescent Family Therapy
Do you have difficulties in resolving relationship issues as a parent with your teenagers? Adolescent Family Therapy (formerly known as RAPS and Touchstone) works with teenagers and their families to provide customised solutions that will work for both the young person and the family.
Family Relationship Centre
Our Family Relationship Centres (FRCs) provide support though relationship changes or breakdown. Services include assistance with parenting arrangements, resolution of financial and property matters, information, referrals and mediation.
Circle of Security
Circle of Security is a program designed for parents and carers of children aged 0-12 years who want to strengthen the bonds with their children and would like support to help their children to build secure relationships.
Tuning into Teens
Tuning into Teens (TINT) is designed to support and help parents teach their teenage children to control, understand and express their emotions in healthy and positive ways. TINT helps parents recognise, understand and respond to their teenager’s emotions, which in turn helps them manage their own emotions.
Aftercare Resource Centre (ARC)
Whether you are preparing to leave out-of-home care, or you have left your care arrangements and are transitioning into independent living, the Aftercare Resource Centre (ARC) can provide you with support and information that will enable you to start the process of independent living effectively.
Living with Teens
Living with Teens is a program designed for parents and carers to better cope with the challenges associated with parenting an adolescent and encourage stronger relationships, communication and problem resolution as young people move towards adulthood.
Building Healthy Relationships
An educational seminar that supports school students to understand the nature of healthy relationships. This program is suitable for school communities with 15 to 18-year-old students who will gain a greater understanding of healthy relationships and how they can develop these relationships within their families and communities.
Bringing Up Great Kids
This six-week program will help you learn more about parenting methods and build the foundations for a great relationship with your child.
Community Builders offers a range of free, tailored programs, support and services to strengthen community and help children, young people and families be safe, resilient and achieve their full potential.
Intercountry Adoptee and Family Support Service
The Intercountry Adoptee and Family Support Service (ICAFSS) is a free nationwide service which supports intercountry adoptees and their families, including young adoptees, adult adoptees and adoptive parents. We can help you and your family manage the complexities and unique challenges that intercountry adoption may bring during a lifetime.
Children’s Contact Service
Our Children’s Contact Service provides support for children and their separated parents to build and maintain secure relationships through supervised contact visits. It also offers a place for the safe transfer of children between separated parents and/or carers.
Triple P – Positive Parenting Program
Triple P is a parenting program for families that provides practical answers to everyday parenting concerns. This group program gives you the opportunity to develop skills, gain support from other parent/carers, and view video demonstrations of core parenting skills.
Parenting Orders Program
Parenting Orders Program (POP) is particularly useful if you are experiencing conflict in adhering to parenting orders made by the court, or as agreed with your former partner in an outside court settlement. This program will assist you to reduce conflict and stay focused on your children's needs.
