FRCs provide a range of services to assist with parenting, financial and property matters for people who are separating or separated. Services include referral, information, support and mediation.

Parenting After Separation-Focus on kids

Parenting after Separation (also known as Supporting children after separation) is a group for separated parents and carers who want to learn more about how they can best support their child through the process of family separation. The group will help you to learn more about managing your ongoing relationship with a former partner and to reduce conflict, whilst supporting your children during this transition.

Family Counselling

Family counselling is for families who are experiencing relationship issues and communication difficulties. Family Counselling can help your family communicate better and find solutions to meet your needs.

Getting Focused

This is a fortnightly group for men attending the Men’s Behaviour Change (MBC) Program who are currently accessing its casework program and waiting for the next Taking Responsibility group to commence.

Couples Communication

This program is suitable for couples who are keen to develop their relationship and be able to communicate with each other effectively and strengthen relationships between them.

Collaborative Practice

ICP, which is often shortened to Collaborative Practice is like mediation but with a team. We will work together with you and your former spouse or partner, providing assistance in making arrangements for children, and sorting out financial and property matters. ICP is a fee for service program.

Flying Solo

This group is designed for single parents to learn how to address grief and loss issues and understand and deal effectively with children’s reaction to change. Participants will develop ways to preserve the new family bonds and be able to build positive futures for the new family unit.

Handling stress in challenging times

The ‘Handling Stress in Challenging Times’ online workshop is designed for participants to identify the signs of stress and help them learn how to manage their own stress responses and develop resources to assist them to cope in this current climate of COVID-19.

Communicating with Kids

The Communicating with Kids seminar is for parents who want strategies and ideas to enhance communication with kids in order to enhance family relationships. This seminar will help you to understand how children communicate, both verbally and other ways.

Circle of Security

Circle of Security is a program designed for parents and carers of children aged 0-12 years who want to strengthen the bonds with their children and would like support to help their children to build secure relationships.

Counselling and Support for People Affected By the Disability Royal Commission

We provide free counselling support to people who are affected by the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse,
Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability (Disability Royal Commission).

Western Sydney Family Referral Service

If you are looking for assistance to link you and your family with local services, Western Sydney Family Referral Service assists vulnerable families, young people and children to cope in difficult times and will be able to link you with services and support networks to meet your needs.

Community Builders

We provide tailored, inclusive programs and services through schools and childcare, councils, community and faith-based organisations to support children and young people to be safe, resilient and ready for life.

Surviving Adolescence

Surviving Adolescence is a program designed for parents and carers to better cope with the challenges associated with parenting an adolescent and encourage stronger relationships, communication and problem resolution as young people move towards adulthood.

Building Healthy Relationships

Building Healthy Relationships is an educational seminar that supports school students to understand the nature of healthy relationships. This program is suitable for school communities with 15 to 18-year-old students who will gain a greater understanding of healthy relationships and how they can develop these relationships within their families and communities.

Triple P

Triple P is a parenting program for families that provides practical answers to everyday parenting concerns. This group program gives you the opportunity to develop skills, gain support from other parent/carers, and view video demonstrations of core parenting skills.
