Who is it for?
Understanding Bullying is a 1-session seminar for parents and carers who would like guidance on how to effectively support their child who may have experienced bullying in the past or be experiencing it currently.
What will it be like?
Seminars and workshops offer a safe, supportive environment where you can share your thoughts and ideas, and learn from others with similar experiences. Our seminars typically have 12-20 participants, and information and resources are provided. You will experience a positive, practical approach that builds on strengths within yourself and in your relationships.

How can it help me?
This seminar helps parents and carers to understand bullying and its impact, as well as learn skills and strategies to help their child to cope. The session will help parent’s understanding schoolyard bullying and how they can best support their child to confidently respond to this challenge.
The seminar will help you to:
- Understand how the “Bullying Cycle” works.
- Understand ways to effectively talk about bullying with their children.
- Practice strategies when dealing with bullying to achieve a good outcome.
- Reflect on how they may be feeling as the parent of a bullied child.
